I build websites for small budgets — a few pages, a shared stylesheet, files copied onto a server. That constraint turned out to be a feature, and this notebook is where I keep the parts worth remembering.

What I care about

Pages that work on a bad connection. Markup that still means something with the stylesheet stripped away. Layouts that survive a doubled font size. Nothing here is a manifesto — these are just the trade-offs I keep landing on.

What is not here

No newsletter, no comments, no analytics. If a note is wrong, it is wrong in public until I fix it; the fix is a new paragraph, not a silent edit.

There is no contact form on this site, on purpose. Everything I publish is meant to stand on its own.
